Cuz I'm procrastinating...as usual
So I saw this over on Oliver's Blog (wow, it's been so long since I actually typed the code for a link I had to actually think about it! yipes!), and have decided to gank it, because, well, just because I can, actually. Plus it seems interesting. You know what...I use that word all too often. interesting Must figure out why I always default to interesting, though I suppose it could be worse, like...ummm *fails to come up with a worse example....Ok, without further ado..some Free Association (list brought to you by Unconscious Mutterings). Ok, maybe a bit of 'ado' first. The idea is to write the first thing that pops into your mind when you see the word on the list.

  1. Plot:: story
  2. Farce:: Royal Canadian Air
  3. Unexpected:: surprise
  4. Siren:: police
  5. Ben:: Brodie
  6. Freshman:: Newbie
  7. Quicksand:: sinking
  8. 24 hours:: day
  9. Spunky:: *giggles*
  10. Vicious:: circle

Go get the list:

Also -- I was looking at all the creative stuff I've been doing lately, and how much I enjoy it (heck, I even want to do another re-do on my lj just because it was fun and a bit challenging) and it reminded me of a convo from last night. My parents were both science majors in university. My brother and I were both arts majors. I wonder how that happened, and gee, is that perhaps why I don't see eye to eye with my parents so often. Of course, I see eye to eye with my brother even less.

Your parents are scientists? With startched white lab coats and big black rubber gloves? Bitchin'! Great layout by the way.

erm, not exactly. They were science majors, but in boring crap like "applied sciences" and "geography" (rather ironic considering I get lost if you just spin me around a couple times). Applied sciences essentially translates to "home economics" from what I've figured out. My parents are actually extremely boring. Dad worked for the railway for years (was a 'yard master' for a while, I think, and handled grievances, and stuff) and is now working in logisitics (runs a warehouse for a trucking/storage company). Mom knows everything there is to know about paint. She just so happens to sell paint for Sears, too. But that's purely coincidental.

Thanks for the compliments on the layout. I rather like it too :D

Nifty. Does spunky have a nasty meaning where you are, too? I know that it does where matt is, but not here. Or at least not that I'm aware of.

Oh, and you must not have thought enough about that link--it seems that you forgot the http:// part. I knew FrontPage would cause problems with your HTML! :)

Yes, it has a dirrrrty meaning here too. At least, it can - it didn't *used* to have that interpretation. But I think you're just too clean to be aware of the double meaning, cuz I'm certain it's in the american vernacular as well.

Yeah yeah I know...but in my defense, I was tired. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! But remember - I can churn out a webpage far faster than any of you regular folk with your hand coding! and it's a whole lot easier to catch mistakes too. Typos don't screw up my coding....except when I'm on here *rolls eyes*
